These terms (the “Terms”) govern your use of AISEOLab (“we”, “us”, the “Service”). By creating an account or using any feature, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Your agreement with us
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and any plan-specific addenda, form the entire agreement between you and AISEOLab (the “Agreement”).
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
AISEOLab is a software-as-a-service platform that audits websites for AI-readiness, generates configuration files, monitors changes over time, and tracks citation patterns in AI answer engines. Specific features available to you depend on your subscription tier. See our pricing page for current plan inclusions.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will not remove material features paid customers rely on without at least 30 days’ written notice.
3. Your account
- Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- Tell us immediately at hello@aiseolab.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Provide accurate registration and billing information. Update it promptly when it changes.
- One person may create one account. You may not share login credentials.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scan websites you don’t own or have explicit permission to scan using automation. Single manual scans of public websites are permitted and consistent with how search engines and similar tools operate.
- Use the Service to facilitate denial-of-service attacks, content scraping in violation of the target site’s terms, or any illegal purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our prior written agreement.
- Bypass rate limits or technical restrictions, including via API keys, browser automation, or network manipulation.
- Submit content (URLs, generated files, etc.) that is unlawful, infringing, or designed to deceive.
We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of this section, with or without notice.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You authorise us (and our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method for the applicable fees plus any taxes.
- Prices are in USD unless otherwise indicated. Currency conversion and merchant fees from your bank are your responsibility.
- Tax (VAT, GST, sales tax) is calculated at checkout based on your billing location.
- Failed payments: we will retry up to three times. If payment fails, your account moves to past_due; paid features are paused, and after 14 days the subscription is cancelled.
- Plan changes: upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Price changes: we’ll give existing subscribers at least 60 days’ notice before any price increase takes effect on their renewal.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@aiseolab.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. We don’t prorate refunds for partial periods, except as required by consumer law (e.g. UK Consumer Contracts Regulations).
If something is genuinely broken or you upgraded by mistake, email us within 14 days of the charge and we’ll refund the most recent billing period without questions. We’d rather have a happy ex- customer than an unhappy current one.
7. Your content and intellectual property
You retain all rights to data you submit (URLs, generated file configurations, scan history, etc. — “Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models. We do not sell aggregated or anonymised data derived from Your Content to third parties.
8. Our content and intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is the property of AISEOLab or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for the duration of your subscription, subject to these Terms.
Files generated for you by the Service (e.g. llms.txt, robots.txt, schemas) are yours to use, modify, and distribute as you see fit.
9. Scanning third-party websites
Our scanner makes HTTP requests to publicly accessible URLs in the same manner as a browser or a search engine crawler. By using the Service, you confirm you have authority or legitimate interest to scan the URLs you submit. You are responsible for the consequences of scans you initiate.
We rate-limit our scanner to avoid burdening target sites and identify our crawler with a clearly named User-Agent string and a public documentation URL.
10. Beta features
We may label features as “beta”, “experimental”, or “early access”. Beta features are provided as-is, may change without notice, may be unstable, and may be removed entirely. Don’t rely on a beta feature for production work.
11. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide the Service “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express, implied, statutory), including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted service.
We do not warrant that scan results are exhaustive, that recommendations will improve your search or AI-engine rankings, or that the Service will detect every issue with your site. Use the Service as a tool, not a guarantee.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — even if we’ve been advised such damages might occur.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AISEOLab from any claim or demand made by a third party that arises from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Service in violation of law, or your scanning of any URL without authority.
14. Termination
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. Where appropriate, we will give notice and opportunity to cure.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that should survive (intellectual property, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll email active customers at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom, except where consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Before filing a claim, email hello@aiseolab.ai first. Most disagreements can be resolved with a single email.
17. Contact
For anything related to these Terms, email hello@aiseolab.ai.
